Gearing Up for This Saturday’s Track Meet at El Camino High School!
We’re excited for a great day of competition this Saturday, March 21, as our athletes head to El Camino High School (5440 Valley Circle Blvd, Woodland Hills, CA 91367) for a full track meet packed with energy, teamwork, and personal bests. Below is everything you need to help your athlete arrive prepared and confident.
📅 Meet Schedule & Arrival
Arrival Time: 7:45 AM (please arrive on time)
Meet Duration: 8:00 AM – approximately 3:00 PM
This will be a full-day event, so families should plan for a long but exciting day at the track.
✅ Athlete Check‑In
Upon arrival, all athletes must check in with our team moms.
They will receive a sticker for each of their events, which helps us track participation and ensure athletes are at the right place at the right time.
Sub-Gremlins and Gremlins can participate in a maximum of 3 events
Bantams and older can participate in a maximum 4 events if one of the events is a relay
Athletes should have 3/16″ pyramid spikes
🌤 Weather & Preparation
The forecast shows temperatures in the high 90s, so staying cool and hydrated will be essential. Please make sure your athlete comes prepared:
- Bring plenty of water
- Pack snacks and/or lunch
- Apply sunblock before arriving and bring extra
- Consider hats, umbrellas, tents, or other sun protection
Your preparation helps keep our athletes safe and performing at their best.
👕 Uniform Distribution
Uniforms will be available:
- Thursday during practice, or
- Friday from 5:00–7:00 PM
If your athlete needs their uniform, please pick it up during one of these times to avoid delays on meet day.
📄 Participation Requirements
To compete on Saturday, all athletes must:
- Be fully registered
- Have all fees paid
- Submit a birth certificate (new athletes only)
Athletes who have not completed these steps cannot participate, so please finalize any outstanding items as soon as possible.
