Step 4 | Discounted Circus Circus  Adventuredome Tickets

Adventuredome is an indoor theme park at the Circus Circus hotel.  On the day that the team doesn’t play, we take the kids to this fun amusement park.  Discounted Adventuredome tickets are available for purchase for $35 ($40 if not purchased in advance) prior to November 4th

Do not buy this ticket for any child under 42” – they are limited to “Junior Rides” only and you can purchase a Junior Ride bracelet for less at the park.  Chaperones not riding do not have to purchase tickets, admission is free.

Step 5 | Team Hotel

Ideally, it works out better if we stay together as a team.  It makes disseminating information, transporting kids and making sure the teams are on the same page that much easier.  We have decided to utilize the Rio Hotel as our “team hotel” for this trip:

Step 7 | Required Forms

Please complete and email back to me the Hold Harmless and Medical Release Form.  Every player will need a form completed.

Step 8 | Team Rosters

If you are joining us from another organization, I will need a copy of your team’s certified roster to submit to the tournament director.  Please get a copy from your team manager and email it to my attention.

GCYFL Superbowl at Sofi Stadium

We are looking to have our Super Bowl games hosted at SoFi Stadium.

This is a unique and memorable opportunity for all athletes and their families to celebrate the 2021 season together and watch the top D1 teams compete in the GCYFL Super Bowl games.

Players, families and supporters would watch the games from club level seating overlooking the brand-new Sofi Stadium Field. Each team would have access to the field, the sidelines and the entry tunnels, between and during games to take team and individual photos.

Throughout the event, all guests would be able to tour the Rams locker rooms, post-game interview rooms and the 50-yard field clubs.

We have the option of securing Thursday, November 11 2021 or Thursday, November 18 2021.   November 11th is a school holiday, but November 18th would be a school day that kids would have to miss.  The  Mighty Mite game would kick off at 8:00am and the Senior Game would kick off at approx 8:30pm under the lights.

Parking is free. Concessions will be open. The cost per ticket would be $20 per player, spectator or coach. Children 4 and under are free.

Please complete the following poll today to gauge your interest.  In order to make this happen our club would have to sell approximately 140 tickets.

Week 1 Games

Are you ready for some football?  I am.  As we prepare for our 1st football game in more than a year, here are some things to take into consideration.

Below is our game schedule.  Please confirm location and arrival times in the BandApp.

MM – vs. Fillmore Raiders

BN – vs. Santa Clarita Grizzlies

FR – vs. Fillmore Raiders

SO – vs. Calabasas Rams

SR – vs. Calabasas Rams

Water: Each player must have their own water bottles.  We will not be using the shared water bottle system that we have been used to.  In some of the cities where we will be playing, the temperature will be in the triple digits.  Please send your athlete with enough water to last for the 3+ hours s/he will be on the field.

Uniforms: All teams will wear their white away jerseys with white socks.

COVID Protocol Meeting:  We will be having a mandatory parent update meeting on Monday, August 30th at 6:45 pm about the stricter COVID protocols for youth sports that go into effect on September 1st.  These changes will be affecting all of our teams conference-wide, so  I implore you to attend this meeting as it will affect how we move forward with the rest of our season.

Sportsmanship: We not only hold our players, coaches, parents & volunteers to a high standard of sportsmanship, but also the fans. As the players on the field have a responsibility to play with the highest level of sportsmanship, we expect the fans & families to do the same. Fan support is best when it is positive. Any person that exhibits unsportsmanlike behavior will be removed from the event.

Looking forward to a great day of football.  Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions.
