Tomorrow’s meet is against AV Track Club and the Palmdale Bullets and will take place at Pete Knight High School located at 37423 70th Street East in Palmdale, CA 93552. Please arrive by 7:30 am.
Upon arrival, have your athletes take their two initial warm up laps and proceed to the field for team warm ups where they will also receive their event stickers.
Please have 3/16″ pyramid spikes for this track.
The order of events will be run as follows:
3000 Meter
Hurdles
4×100 Relay
1500 Meter
400 Meter
100 Meter
800 Meter
200 Meter4×400 Relay
We will need 2-4 parent volunteers to help with long jump throughout the day. There will be no high jump, as their high jump pits are not ready for use.
For this meet only, we do not have any 3000 meter runners and we will not be doing any 4x4s.
If you will be bringing a 10×10 pop up tent, please set it up on the top row of the bleachers.
Tomorrow’s weather is predicted at a high of 67 degrees, so please dress appropriately and bring sweaters, jackets, etc.
There will be a snack bar and AV Track Club is also hosting a raffle that is a team fundraiser. Raffle tickets are $5 each and the grand prize is a 50″ flat screen TV. There are cast prizes for 2nd and 3rd place. The raffle will be announced at their last meet and you do not need to be present to win.
